This is a hidden gem. You could drive past it many times without noticing it (I found it hard to find with its nondescript signage) but the locals know where to go! I had the chicken neptune which was awesome, and many others had veal or steak which looked and smelled fantastic. I'm never quite sure what to expect from a small-town independent restaurant, but this one has a nice family restaurant feel and delivers quality food far above my expectations.
This is a hidden gem. The service is friendly and accommodating to menu changes. The chef is creative and talented. The waffle eggs benedict are not a regular menu item, but ask for them because they are amazing. The eggs are perfectly poached and the hollandaise is the best I have ever had. Totally worth the drive to Devon.
Under new management, food was good
Awesome food and service! My husband (who orders a burger pretty much every time we go out) said it was the best burger he's ever had. We will be making this a regular stop when we are in the area.
I ate here last summer while visiting family. I'm a Bluenoser (Nova Scotia) and I love seafood. I had the steak & lobster and it was delicious. The steak was cooked exactly as I asked for, perfect medium rare and the lobster was perfect too. The staff was very pleasant and prompt. I'm heading back in August and I will be visiting again.
